A Secret Weapon for Stress

Hey there, Beast! Did you know that stress affects millions of people worldwide? It's time to take charge and conquer stress with the true secret weapon: exercise! 💪

Yeah yeah, we know... why would anyone want to think about exercising if they're already stressed out? Um, because your body needs a release! Its like holding a whole bunch energy waves in a sealed cup, with no place to go. At some point the energy becomes too much that the cup explodes. Well, you are the cup! You need to constantly pour out the stresses to make room for your cup to be refilled with the things that make you happy, calm, and joyful. If your not making room in your cup for the good things that fuel you the stress will take over.

Exercise has been proven to reduce the levels of stress hormones in your body, such as adrenaline and cortisol, while simultaneously boosting the production of endorphins, your body's natural mood elevators. It's like a powerful antidote for stress! How do you get to that point, where the exercise becomes your medicine? Well, ask yourself after every workout, "how great do i feel right now?" The answer most often will be... "really good"...or... "proud of myself for doing it." These answers begin to feed your subconscious mind and begin the process of stress management and positive energy boosts that your body will then begin to crave and be excited for.


What does stress do to your body? It can wreak havoc, causing various negative effects on both your physical and mental well-being. From increased cardiac reactivity to higher stress hormone levels, to destroying the gut, and placing strain on relationships, stress can take a toll on your overall health.


Literally stress can kill you. So make sure you have some kind of handle on it. Too bad I can't exercise 14 hours a day! Lol! I have to turn to movement for stress! Works everytime!
